Be inspired by stories of African American leaders from the Andovers; the Hinton Family, Cato Freeman and Salem Poor. Coloring books for kids while supplies last, and from 1pm-2pm enjoy ice cream samples to celebrate the Hinton’s ice cream business.

We had a wonderful 6th annual 4th of July Declaration of Independence Recitation event on the Common. You can see the event video here. Thanks to Senator Bruce Tarr, Representative Tram Nguyen, Pastor Lyndon Myers and all the other Recitation event participants.

Join us on July 4th 2025 at 11am on the North Andover Common to celebrate Freedom with your fellow citizens by experiencing a powerful, family-friendly event featuring historic readings, including the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights. Live music will complement each treading and keep all ages engaged.

The Friends have awarded a $10,000 grant to refurbish the Revere Bell in Meeting House steeple.

The Friends have received a Community Preservation Act grant from the Town of North Andover to repair and refurbish elements of the Meeting House roof, finials and structure.
